Medusa’s Sensor division is focused on the engineering and development of Night Vision sensors for ground and airborne uses. 

Color Night Vision (“CNV”) is a topic of high concern for Security companies, DoD warfighters and planners.  The current generation of night vision devices provides monochrome display scenarios for the users and relies on grown crystal intensifier tubes which are highly sensitive to damage.

With the ability to provide much higher target discrimination via full color real-image display, the development and integration of EMCCD chipsets into electro-optical sensors has received priority interest.  Medusa has committed to design a generation of color night vision cameras, interleaved with forward looking infrared imagery by proprietary software, to provide the sensors necessary to convey accurate, clear, full-color real-time imagery information for security and military applications.
